TCL Reached New Milestone, Recycling 100 Million Pounds of Electronics

TCL- the leading electronics brand announced that its recycling programme has successfully recycled over 100 million pounds of electronics. Also, the company has demonstrated its sustainability leadership by winning EPA’s Special Sustainability Leadership Award and Gold-Tier Sustainability Award.

To further boost electronics collection and recycling, TCL plans to host free and convenient take-back events in key markets of the United States in connection with America Recycles Day on November 15th. Accordingly, a free electronics recycling event is scheduled to be held in Columbus, OH on 13th November. The TCL’s Take Back Tour will be held in Ann Arbor, MI on November 20th.

The company has already tied up with Electronic Manufacturers Recycling Management Company (MRM) and other local partners.

Jonathan King, Vice President of Corporate and Legal Affairs for TCL noted that the company is thrilled to support the America Recycles Day by raising consumer awareness of the benefits of electronics recycling. TCL is committed to provide quality recycling options for its consumers with special focus on implementing programs for undeserved communities, he added.
