Prices for brass scrap and bronze scrap were unchanged from the previous day. Stainless Steel Scrap prices, on the other hand, fell on the Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
Alternator scrap prices were unchanged from the previous day. #1 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were stable. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing pricing were similarly unchanged from the day before. #1 Copper Bare Bright’s pricing stayed constant.
Over the course of the day, the price of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85 percent Recovery stayed unchanged. Prices for 50 percent recovery #2 Insulated Copper Wire remained constant as well. #3 Copper-Light copper prices were unchanged from the previous day.
Copper Radiator scrap prices were unchanged from the previous day’s levels. The price of copper transformer scrap remained constant. Prices for CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends were unchanged from the previous day.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
1100 Scrap prices remained unchanged throughout the day. On Index, the prices of 3003 Scrap were also stable. 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe pricing remained constant.
6063 Extrusions pricing were stable throughout the day.
In the meantime, pricing for 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions were unchanged from the previous day.
Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe stayed unchanged in pricing. The pricing of aluminium radiators and aluminium radiators/Fe remained stable. On September 21, 2021, the pricing of Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery stayed constant.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in North America were completely unchanged on Index.
On Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, the prices of 70/30 brass scrap, 80/20 brass scrap, 85/15 brass scrap, and Brass Radiator scrap remained unchanged.
Prices for Brass Radiator /Fe and Brass Radiator Ends remained unchanged from the previous day.
On the Index, prices for red brass, red bores, and yellow brass were unchanged.
